Have I mentioned how much I hate the Yankees? Because I really hate the Yankees. Now that they’re completely loaded, after a $400+ million (and counting) shopping spree this offseason, I really hope they fall on their faces next year. OH NOES! As fun as the rotation would be with Sabathia in it, I really kind of hope the Giants save their money and put it towards signing Lincecum to a long-term deal. He’s awesome, still young, and doesn’t have the potential to weigh 2000 pounds.

If the Giants must go out and pick up a shortstop, I can handle this if it’s a two year deal. Two year deals = far less scary than, say, four or five year deals for injury prone players. (coughFURCALcough) On the other hand, I wouldn’t be totally sad if they didn’t get a shortstop and put the money towards something else and just kept Burriss at the position.
