Derek Jeter Finally Admits to Stealing a Part of... →
Oh, Jeter, you scamp. Can you imagine the outrage if it had been A-Rod who had done this?
A Little Housekeeping
In honor of a new baseball season, I thought it was high time I moved on up from a default Tumblr layout. Thus, I present a tickered with default Tumblr layout. It hadn’t occurred to me that it’s been awhile since I messed with CSS and the like. Part of me kind of misses it.
But yes, new year, new layout. HOW EXCITING.
Wilson, Zito attacking winter with vigor →
Brian Wilson is nuts, and yet, if this off-season training regimen somehow helps Zito pitch well all year, then P90X and throwing over canyons for all!
Jeff Kent to announce retirement from baseball →
Now it’s time for ol’ Jeff to mellow out, so he and Barry Bonds can be inducted into the Giants wall of fame together and share some man hugs.
I am so antsy for baseball to start up again. It’s getting kind of ridiculous. I might have to resort to downloading the last game of last season just to get a fix. Pitchers and catchers report in less than a month now, but THAT’S NOT SOON ENOUGH. I NEED A FIX.
Tribe inks Chulk to Minor League deal →
CHULK SMASH. CHULK GO CLEVELAND. ROWR.
Giants invite Posey, 15 others to camp →
Just hearing about pitchers and catchers reporting to camp warms my heart on this cool January evening.
Giants ace Tim Lincecum on his 2008 season →
I think the beanie is part of the regular Tim Lincecum uniform.
Seattle Mariners sign right-handed pitcher Tyler... →
Bye, Thighler. I wish you much success and sweatiness.
Giants Offer Slugger Manny Ramirez 4-Year Deal →
Maybe I’m still in MAJOR denial, but I choose to believe that the well-connected source is Scott Boras himself, making crap up. Or maybe it’s Pedro Gomez. Or Ken Rosenthal.
Either way, I had a minor panic attack when I saw the headline. Four years? DO NOT WANT.
A total load of bunk →
If you scroll down to the very bottom of the link above, you’ll see a tiny little blurb about the Giants chasing after Manny on the sly. My initial reaction to hearing this news, which naturally has exploded across the Internet as rumors are apt to do, was to want to run, screaming, for the hills. Manny? No, thanks. I don’t care if he can hit. He’s old(er), his defense...
It was nice of Comcast to forget to turn on the new MLB Network here today.
